F & B Implementation Specialist

The Food & Beverage Implementation Specialist plays a crucial role in connecting our customers to our software. The major purpose of this position is to help our customers make a smooth conversion to the NeXT system and provide training and customer support through the process. We seek someone with an analytical mindset who can translate information for non-technical customers while remaining patient and enthusiastic.

This position requires excellent presentation and communication skills as you will meet with property management to customize our software and allow for optimal usage of our system. In addition, you will act as a consultant for these customers training both back-office and front-end users. You will work independently based on requirements from the customer and train key personnel on the NeXT system. This position can be performed from corporate office or a remote virtual location and is ideal for applicants who are excited to travel as it provides an opportunity to see the US coast to coast as well as international destinations. You will travel both individually and with a team training our customers during the initial implementation stage.

While in the office you will support current customers, prepare for future trips, and conduct follow-ups with recently installed customers.

Training:
Training for this position lasts about 2 months and will involve training trips and attending and completing software education classes. You will focus on one area of the software and assist experienced consultants with customer set-up and implementation. It will also include observations in various departments across the company.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Hospitality/Communication Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  2. Minimum 3 years F & B back of the house operational experience
  3. Micros/POS experience will be considered a plus
  4. Accounting/Bookkeeping experience will be considered a plus
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing, friendly personality
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  7. Self-starter abilities are essential and the aptitude to work independently and in a team environment
  8. Ability to travel 50% - 70% of the time/Flexibility in work schedule

Software Support Specialist

The Software Support Specialist provides direct DataWorks application support to customers via telephone and web meeting tools or in written email or chat sessions. This multi-faceted position provides general product, account status and company policy information to customers with primary focus on resolving customer concerns raised during software operations and maintenance. This role is an excellent entry point into the company and can be a path to further opportunities.

This position requires someone with an analytical mindset who can translate information for non-technical customers while remaining patient and enthusiastic. As a frontline employee you will troubleshoot problems with usability or technical issues within the software applications and recommend/implement corrective action. You will act as a liaison between the end user and appropriate internal resources for resolution of more complicated issues; reporting design, reliability, and maintenance problems to senior level resources for resolution and product development. And further, you will be responsible for documenting the replication path of software issues and working with product development on behalf of the customer. You must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and technical expertise to document problems and correction procedures, as well as detailed customer information.

This position performs other related work as assigned and may also require occasional travel individually or with a team training our customers.

Training:
Training for this position lasts about 2 months and may involve training trips and attending and completing software education classes. You will focus on all areas of the software and assist experienced Support Specialist with customer interaction and case resolution. It will also include observations in various departments across the company.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Computer Science/Business College degree or relevant experience
  2. Minimum Customer Service Experience 3-5 years - call center environment experience including experience troubleshooting software issues via telephone and use of remote support tools to provide a resolution to the end user
  3. Inventory Management/Micros/POS/SQL/Windows Server/Citrix experience will be considered a plus
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing, friendly personality
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  6. Self-starter abilities are essential and the aptitude to work independently and in a team environment
  7. Ability to travel 10% - 20% of the time/Flexibility in work schedule

New Business Developer

The New Business Developer is an ambitious and highly-motivated Enterprise Software Sales professional who will drive next generation enterprise retail software solutions and professional services revenue by identifying, pursuing and closing new customers. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining a sales and marketing plan and an opportunity pipeline that drives sales activities, ensuring that revenue goals are met. We seek someone with demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities and develop and maintain effective business and marketing plans.

This position requires a self-starter and independent thinker with the aptitude to work autonomously and who is disciplined and accurate in communicating opportunities and sales activities to the Executive team. You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written with proven ability to create sales presentations, messages, position statements, and other sales collateral. You have the ability to communicate with and present to all levels within prospect organizations and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior business executives. You can drive and sustain a high level of monthly sales activities across our targeted markets through your entrepreneurial attitude and are capable of identifying and defining potential customers, fostering initial interest in the suite of DataWorks offerings. With thorough knowledge of DataWorks products and services you create a vision of potential solutions to customer's critical business needs and justify return on investment for the implementation of DataWorks products.

In addition you will foster client relationships that result in customers who can be used as positive references for future prospects.

Training for this position lasts about 1 month and may involve training trips and attending and completing software education classes. You will focus on all areas of the software to develop a strong working knowledge and understanding of all DataWorks products and services. It will also include observations in various departments across the company.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Business/Marketing Bachelor's degree or related field/relevant experience
  2. Minimum 3 years of proven and consistent success in selling high-value enterprise software solutions and services
  3. Solid experience in and strong knowledge of Inventory Management/POS, Retail and F&B business processes
  4. Excellent PC and Internet skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and web meeting tools.
  5. Excellent time management and follow-up skills
  6. Ability to travel 50% - 70% of the time/Flexibility in work schedule
