A complete replacement for ARMS -- DataWorks' Advanced Retail Management Software -- NeXT is the culmination of 20 years of retail experience. Experience that recognized the limitations of ARMS and the need for retailers to track and record a much broader range of data. While ARMS was a great product, it had to be rewritten to address inherent design flaws and to meet the demands of today's retail business. NeXT is not an upgrade or enhancement.   • As globalization is making the business world smaller, NeXT runs in multiple languages and recognizes, converts and reports multiple currencies, taxes, and tariffs.

  • NeXT gives you the ability to change Vendor default preferences so multiple vendors can supply the same SKU .

  • NeXT comes with a Manufacturer form where you can validate each product to a specific manufacturer. And more than one vendor can supply that manufacturer's products.

  • You can create 12 user-defined SKU attributes, not just two.

  • The NeXT SKU grid gives you three class-definable dimensions (Color, Size and Size Modifier ), not just Color and Size.

  • NeXT provides six additional levels and tiers for Merchandise Hierarchies.

  • The Facility Hierarchy is six levels as well so you can better define the level of data gathered and reported.

  • You can run multiple physical inventories, concurrently!

  • NeXT allows you to define any number of periods to record minimum and maximum inventory data per SKU per time period.

  • Quantity on hand can be tracked all the way down to multiple locations within a facility.
